Jumbo/Bulk Bag Unloading System



The PNEUCON Jumbo Bag Unloading System, also known as Jumbo bag dischargers and super sack unloaders are specifically designed to provide an easy, clean and economical way to discharge the entire contents of bulk and semi-bulk bags, especially when the material is less than free-flowing.

Jumbo bags can be placed in the Jumbo bag unloader by fork lift, hoist or crane from floor level. An integral hoist on a monorail can be furnished if desired. Standard arrangement includes a bag frame to which the suspension loops of the bag can be attached while the bag is resting on the floor. The bag frame is then raised and positioned so the hooks on the frame engage a counter-balanced suspension frame in the superstructure of the unloaded. When lowered, the bottom of the bag rests on a sealing ring in the unloader bed and the tension on the bag loops keeps the bag upright. Optional pneumatically operated actuator petals massage the lower portion of the bag to promote material flow toward the center of the bag.

Material can discharge by gravity into storage, a process vessel or a conveying system for transfer to another location. Modular construction of the discharge portion underneath the bed facilitates the use of a wide range of devices such as feed screws, rotary valves, lump breakers,

FLY ASH HANDLING SYSTEM



Timely execution of mega-projects in construction Industries has led to paradigm shift with introduction of Batching plant and its product viz; RMC However two basic inputs to RMC viz cement and Fly ash are received at site in Bulkers or in bags The optimum productivity of Batching plant depends on how fast the cement / fly ash is received at site and is transferred to Batching Silo. PNEUCON has designed, manufactured and supplied user friendly system mounted on a skid; it will have options to both modes of Cement / fly ash input i.e. loose in Bulkers or material received in Bags. Conveying from Bulker to Main Silo is achieved by diverting the voluminous air flow at around 1 Kg /Cm2 Pressure. The bulker is aerated and pressurized. Opening of Bottom Valve allows cement / fly ash to fall directly in dispatch pipe. The air flow carries the material to the main Silo.

The conveying rate achieved is 30 - 32 Tons per hour. When cement / fly ash is received at site in Bags, then they are manually taken to a hopper. Bags are slit and loose material is dumped in to the hopper. A specially, designed screw feeder and low pressure air insertion ensures measured flow of material in to the discharge pipe line The cement / fly ash dropped in discharge pipe are pushed ahead to main silo with the pressure of 1 Kg/Cm2. The transfer rate achieved is 12 to 15 Tons / Hour for this mode the same operational procedures remain common for lime handling systems also.

From pick-up spike to piping to receivers and vacuum pumps, PNEUCON offers a wide range of equipment for pneumatic conveying needs, whether for automated refill of feeding systems or as standalone conveying applications. The following list describes the varied elements available from PNEUCON for building a complete conveying system for loss-in-weight feeder refill (pictured in the diagram above).


From simple suction wands for free flowing materials to fully fluidized feed bins (1), silo pick-up pots (2) or bag dump stations (3) with prefeeders for powders, Premier offers a wide variety of equipment to ensure reliable material pick-up into the conveying air.
             

Connect one or multiple material picks up stations to a vacuum receiver. To ensure blockage-free conveying, diverter valves (4) and line clearance valves (5) are available in addition to the piping.
             

Various models of central (7) and self-contained receivers are available to separate the material from the conveying air stream, alternating between suction and discharge modes of operation.
             

Sequence & vent valves (8) allow the air stream to bypass and vent the vacuum receiver during the discharge cycle.
             

Vacuum pump packages include the pump -- regenerative blower (9), sliding vane or rotary lobe blower (10) -- to produce the air stream as well a bypass valve (11) to allow the pump to run while no receiver is conveying and a secondary filter (12) to protect the vacuum pump from entrance of foreign bodies.

             
HCU/HSU control and operator interface are available to control a single central or self-contained unit. To control the sequence of a multi-component system PLC controls (13) are available which are programmed to suit the client’s process. Siemens, Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley PLC controls are available.


A central vacuum system has the ability to do the work of a dozen of smaller, individual cleaners. This central vacuum system aims to keep the entire industrial plan dust free and even getting rid of the dust and other dirt items.

The central vacuum system consists of a large media dust collector, like a cartridge or a bag house which has an inertial separator which can be used as a pre-sorter. The main advantage of this pre-sorter is that it helps to remove the large chips and then with the help of the media filtration, the fine particles can be removed.
